Davis Keillor-Dunn celebrated his 29th birthday yesterday, having already given himself an early present with a superb strike in Sunday’s thrilling draw with Blackpool.
The Wrexham loanee seized on a wayward pass before surging clear from the centre circle and coolly firing a low shot past Owls old boy Bailey Peacock-Farrell. After an indifferent start to life at Hillsborough, Keillor-Dunn has now found the net four times in his last seven appearances.
Matt Hamshaw, who concluded his two-match spell as interim boss unbeaten, feels the versatile forward is starting to show why Wednesday brought him to the club.
