Thanks for this Joe, there is a section of the fanbase that clearly won't read or understand what you've written there. The club and the team are largely being rebuilt and these things take time. People nowadays just clearly lack patience, whether it's football or anything else. Wednesday's biggest strength is it's supporters...but they are in turn it's biggest weakness especially after a result that goes against us. What the club needs is togetherness and patience from all concerned. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that!
Very sensible piece. The pre-season results have been pretty shocking, far worse than those from our last L1 season in 22-23, but we are coming from an incredibly low base and expectations (including mine) are probably unrealistic. We need to get the positive vibe and the sense of forward momentum back
The club and HP know full well what is expected, the players have said themselves they expect a promotion push, Storch has said he expects the players and manager to be at their best. I have no doubt that if we aren't performing as expected then the owner won't be afraid to make a change and I believe that would be before Christmas if necessary. I want HP to succeed but I have confidence in the owner to make the right calls at the right time.
Yep the last thing we need a couple of fans who I usually respect their views also having a ding Dong on Twittter 🤷♂️
We have a positive ownership and the ground being improved daily 🙏 let’s concentrate on that 💙
Went to both games Saturday first game lot of young lads got old manned a bit , Cooper looked strong Captain for me he’s a leader ,Trueman looked solid with what he had to deal with ,Reece James good also
Oldham game 😱 first 10 mins ok ,Lumley flaps and they score looked shaky all game ,kicking not great , problem for me was no real pattern of play and urgency ,they deserved tin win wanted it more .
Hi Joe, another well balanced piece, thank you. I feel Kris Wigfield was out of order with his ill chosen words, It's not what I would have expected from a so called "professional" person, especially as it seems reading between the lines that Iko has had some significant health problems. Given that he was referring to his prescribed medication in his response, I would have expected KW to have been a bit more empathetic in his public utterances. Have to say with regards to the coming season, Henrik must be given at least until Christmas to turn things around, there are some people with short memories around who don't realise how hard a job he has to gel a new team together, because that's what it will be once everyone's through the door.

That sums me up too, cheers Richard. We are eager to get some wins and there is a road to go down first.
Fair comment, and some balance thanks Joe. I have commentated on Ike already. I agree with your assessment.
Kris has done right coming off twatter. Right or wrong we need positivity here and now. If nothing else it helps get players in the door.
