Under Dejphon Chansiri there wasn’t one. They went from spending big money and paying big wages to spending no money and paying no wages, and despite the efforts of multiple managers there never appeared to be any sort of joined-up thinking from the man at the helm.
Now, however, things have changed, and with Simon Wilson heading up recruitment in his role as Sporting Director – and alongside the likes of Kevin Beadell and manager, Henrik Pedersen – Wednesday seem to have a logic to what they’re thinking.
