On Sunday night Sheffield Wednesday checked into the Hungarian base that they’ll call home for the next five days. The Wednesday Word went to check it out.

The Globall Hotel, which about 35 minutes outside central Budapest, is a four-star sports and wellness venue located in the village of Telki. To get there from the capital you leave the hustle and bustle behind, soon finding yourself on winding country roads where the speed limits vary so much that this writer – driving on the right side of the road - has almost certainly racked up a traffic violation or two.
