The Owls will still have Jamal Lowe suspended after his red card against Notts County, with this weekend’s tie being the third and final game of his ban. Reece James and Jaden Heskey, meanwhile, are both two yellow cards away from a one-game absence.
Speaking generally on the injury front, Hamshaw said, “It will be a race against the clock for players returning. Some will make it, some won't. We have an extra 24 hours to normal and another training tomorrow… We trust all our players in the squad and they all need to stand up and be counted."
Liam Cooper was left out of the last game in order to give him a rest, while Jordi Liongola is on the brink of his return to action after a lengthy injury lay-off.
Elsewhere, this is what Hamshaw had to say today:
Ricardo Santos
He’s frustrated, I had a chat with him this morning. He’s another one that’s on that borderline. We’ll have to wait and see for Sunday… He wants to play regularly, and when he’s played, he’s done well.
Louie Barry
Louie is training, so he hopefully shouldn’t be too long. We just have to make sure that we give him time… After this game we’ve got the FA Cup, and we want to win, but it gives us a chance to get some players back.
Di’Shon Bernard
We knew that we might have to play him and him miss a couple of games, and that’s login to be the difficulty of managing this process… We have to make sure we do things right for Dish, but also right for the football club… A decision will be made, we’d all love to see him back playing, and we all hope that if it’s not this weekend then it’ll be soon.
The opposition
The Tangerines welcomed back Fraser Horsfall recently after a six-month lay-off, but his ankle has now flared up again so he’ll be unavailable against the Owls.
Elsewhere, Niall Ennis is close to returning, but it remains to be seen when exactly he could be back, while the likes of CJ Hamilton and former Owl, Michael Ihiekwe, have been absent for some time.
Finally, George Honeyman - who has captained the side - missed the defeat to Mansfield Town and is set to miss the next few weeks with a calf injury.

Glad Honeyman unavailable. Always seems to play well against us.
