The Owls have announced that the 23-year-old faces ‘up to three months’ out of action after rolling his ankle at Adams Park not long after scoring the equaliser against Wycombe Wanderers in Wednesday’s 2-1 victory.
It comes as a huge blow for Henrik Pedersen.
They said today, “Sheffield Wednesday Football Club confirms that Louie Barry is set for up to three months on the sidelines.
“The summer signing sustained an ankle ligament injury after opening the scoring during Tuesday’s victory over Wycombe Wanderers.
“Barry, 23, has enjoyed an exceptional start to his time at Hillsborough, registering three goals and one assist in six appearances since arriving from Aston Villa in July.
“The winger will now begin a period of rehabilitation at Middlewood Road… All at SWFC wish Louie a speedy recovery.”
Barry becomes the latest injury setback at Middlewood Road, joining the likes of Tyler Onyango, Sil Swinkels and Max Lowe on the sidelines.

Well that solves the where do we play Grey problem. I am very sorry for him, he was enjoying himself and you could see it. My limited knowledge is recovery 6-8 weeks then back to match fitness lets hope he is back playing in 10 weeks.
