Sheffield Wednesday's full travelling squad as talented teenager gets the nod
Sheffield Wednesday have taken a big contingent to Central Europe for their preseason camp in Hungary and Austria.
The Owls arrived in Budapest on Sunday night, and got to work earlier today as Henrik Pedersen continues to prepare them for the League One campaign that awaits them.
As previously reported, Cameron Dawson is the only non-contracted player who has made the trip, while the decision was also made to leave Iké Ugbo at home. Yan Valery, meanwhile, is on extended leave after playing in the summer’s World Cup.
An interesting choice from Pedersen sees young Kailen Hatfield, who is on the brink of signing his first professional contract, get the nod to join the seniors in Europe, while fellow youngster, Aodhan Sopala, also made the cut. George Brown, meanwhile, was left out as he continues to recover from his injury.
