Goodnight, Vienna - Sheffield Wednesday's flight struggles, a game cancellation and a world-class city
Vienna is considered to be one of the best cities in the world to live in, and after Sheffield Wednesday's visit I can absolutely see why.
Today will be my final video filmed from Central Europe, I write this post from the same airport that played host to both the Owls and Stoke City for the best part of 17 hours after an incident with a bird meant that their plane couldn’t fly and a replacement eventually had to be found.
My last video was recorded from the stunning Stadtpark, not too far from one of the city’s most iconic statues - Johann Strauss. You can find the video below, but you’ll have to join The Wednesday Word as a paid subscriber for the rest of my musings on SWFC’s time in this fantastic city.
