Sheffield Wednesday squad state of play as new contracts await and possible exits loom

Sheffield Wednesday’s players will return for preseason in a few days’ time, but it remains to be seen who will be part of the squad when they do.

The Owls are due back in at Middlewood Road on Wednesday as Henrik Pedersen looks to put his players through their paces ahead of their 2026/27 campaign, but at the time of writing the only bit of confirmed news is that Ricardo Santos has joined their ranks from Swansea City.
