It’s been one helluva summer for the Owls, who brought in Ali Al-Hamadi earlier this week as he became signing number 16, joining the club on loan from Ipswich Town for the course of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Iraqi’s arrival marked a third striker signing after Harry Gray and Mason Burstow, and took the total number of loans to four. The other 13 arrivals consist of three goalkeepers, four defenders, three midfielders, and three who would fall into the category of attacking midfielders or wingers.

Despite the raft of new faces at Hillsborough, who will certainly take time to settle, Wednesday do still feel a bit light - and that’s even before taking into consideration the fact that they already have a few frustrating injuries to deal with.

Today we’re going to look at who they’ve got, where they’ve got cover, and what could be in the works prior to deadline day on Tuesday night.
