Injuries are something that we cannot control, but putting that aside I think our summer recruitment has been excellent. Experience, hungry young players, proven performers - there has been a bit of everything brought in. Add in to the mix the retention of some of our quality players from last season and I have to admit that I’m impressed with the work done by our recruitment team.
The former Barnsley striker has joined on loan, but only until January because that was as much as the Owls were able to commit to within the financial restrictions they are operating under.
