David has come with his wife, Angie, to whom he’s been married for 54 years. They’re both lifelong Wednesdayites, and are delighted to see what’s happening to the club under the ownership of David Storch. The American has shown more respect to Owls legends in the last few months than Dejphon Chansiri did in 10 years.
Elsewhere, a former Liverpool and Wednesday man spoke about the struggles that Henrik Pedersen’s men could face in League One this season, while Sheffield Wednesday Ladies were beaten for the first time in 2026/27.
The U21s were defeated 2-1 by Colchester United, with Harry Chadbourne getting the goal, and the U18s drew 2-2 against the same opponent. Thomas Conlan and Charlie Robinson were on the scoresheet.
